COMOX VALLEY As part of a five year 'Comox Valley Economic Development Strategy,' Pacey + Pacey Design was hired to create a complete brand identity that the community could market from an investment attraction perspective. The branding was to also enable the region to leverage the opportunities provided in the run-up to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The logo needed to incorporate a long tagline, "Wildly Sophisticated, Economically Unconventional", as well as be flexible enough to represent over twelve distinctive sectors. A secondary logo, bottom, was created to be used for certain sectors when the tagline would be omitted.
